Dee & Ricky are a New York artist duo whose work lives at the intersection of music, fashion, and design. A template storefront was never going to carry that identity. The brand experience required something a standard Shopify theme couldn't deliver, so DEFX built a custom headless Hydrogen storefront while keeping Shopify underneath for commerce operations.
The result was deeandricky.com: a fully headless storefront where the browsing experience behaves like a TV channel guide while Shopify runs the commerce underneath.
Full Design & Motion Control
The design required full control over routing, layout, and motion with fast, immediate channel-flipping navigation while commerce operations remained on Shopify for inventory, discounts, and checkout.
